Yes, the locker rooms are open for changing. the showers are available.

Where can I park?

Ives Pool does not have a specific parking lot, but there is plenty of free street parking. We encourage our swimmers in need of handicap parking to park in the Sebastopol Arts Center parking lot and take the walkway through Ives Park.

What is the temperature of the water?

Ives Pool is always kept at 81 degrees. Most competitive swimming pools are kept at a temperature lower than 81 and therapeutic pools are kept higher. Ives is kept at 81 to make it comfortable for both the lap swimmers and those participating in aqua fitness classes. Please keep in mind that the outside temperature plays a major factor on how the water feels.

Do you have lockers?

Ives has small lockers that can easily fit a cell phone, keys, and your wallet. We do not have large lockers for clothes and other larger items. We do not have locks, so please bring your own.

Is Ives a saltwater pool?

We do use salt in our pool however it is not a saltwater pool. We also use chlorine in our pool to keep it safe for everyone to enjoy.

Are all of those solar panels used to heat the pool?

It would be amazing if they did, but unfortunately there are just not enough panels to make that work. They do help with all the other electrical needs of a pool.
