In attendance: Virginia Porter, Lynn Deedler, Alan Siegle, Eric Fritsch, Liza Prunuske.

Members of the public: Barbara Deedler, Lyn Lemaire

Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm.  

PUBLIC COMMENT

• No public comment on items not on the agenda.

REPORTS

President’s report

• Virginia Porter announced that she has reviewed the Board Rules as posted on the website and will manage Board meetings in accordance with those rules. The Board Rules call for the use of Robert’s Rules to “allow for efficient meetings.”

OLD BUSINESS

Legal counsel regarding Nancy Deedler gift to WSCS

• A motion was made and seconded to authorize Liza and Virginia to interview attorneys for advice on the Board’s options regarding the Nancy Deedler Gift, and to enter into an agreement for up to $1000 for legal counsel. The motion passed 4-1, with Lynn Deedler voting against the motion.

ANNOUNCEMENT

• Lynn Deedler acknowledged the effort Brian Shears has put into the garden. It looks great.
