Now is the time to join Friends of Ives Pool for 2009, and membership is ONLY $10! We need all users to be members!

The complete operating cost of Ives Pool and all of Ives’ aquatic programs are provided by the nonprofit Friends of Ives Pool/WSCS (Western Sonoma County Swimmers). As a pool user, you have the benefit of one of the few pools in Sonoma County with yearround operation and swimming programs for all ages and abilities. These programs would not be offered without the membership and support from the Ives community.

Take a look at what Friends of Ives Pool was able to do in 2008

70,000 visits were made to Ives Pool (an average of almost 200 users per day!)
Ives was open 355 days including Thanksgiving and New Years Day
On average Ives was open 15 hours/day
14 swim programs were held
Ives provided 20 scholarships for swim lessons and aqua therapy
Ives employed 60 people of which 75% were high school students
Our solar installation reached 115,000 kwh this month
